SEALED TENDERS on forms supplied by the Department of Development and Property and placed in sealed envelopes, will be received until 2:00 p.m. local time, May 11, 2023 for the following:

• Construction of two (2) equipment storage buildings on the Paramedic facility/administration property located at 450 O’Brien Rd., Renfrew, Ontario. The 50’ x 36’ garages will be used to house emergency response equipment. The Counties objective is to award a contract to the successful tenderer who can demonstrate the ability to deliver a high quality, well managed project for the construction of the storage buildings. Work is to include but not limited to all labour, material, equipment, transportation, supervision, permits, disposal and incidentals required to complete this work.

Companies that wish to submit a tender for this contract must register with the Department in order to receive the project documents and to be eligible to submit a tender. Tenders submitted by unregistered bidders will not be accepted.

Electronic PDF files of the drawings, specifications and Bid forms are available for registered bidders.  Electronic submission of tenders will also be accepted. Hard copy Specifications may be obtained from the Department by request.  Please provide 48 hours’ notice for obtaining hard copies.

Faxed submissions will not be accepted. The lowest of any tender will not necessarily be accepted and the County of Renfrew reserves the right to award any portion of the work or none of the work. 

Proponents are invited to a Mandatory Site Meeting on April 18, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. located at 450 O’Brien Road, Renfrew Ontario.  Please arrive on time.
